Description

An amazing quote from an even more amazing author.
Peace and love!

EDIT: As pointed out in the critique below, the band on the side has seven colours instead of six (as per the LGBT flag). That's because it's modeled after the rainbow and not the flag :) Please read the reply to the critique for a better explanation!

I'll choose this one to critique next. I personally think that this is your strongest one yet (although there is one glaring problem). I'm assuming that this was intentionally released to coincide with the Day of Silence?

The first thing that I see when I look at this is the pride flag. Now, I'm probably just a -bit- too discerning, but something's wrong here. Hmm... You have red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet; and you also have some other thing between the violet and blue.

You added in an extra color! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Laughing"/> The LGBT flag has never included dark purple! If that was for artistic purposes, or mere forgetfulness, please tell me in the feedback. It would be a bit offsetting to have a poster up that got the colors wrong.

With that out of the way, I love the rest of it. I love the subtle shading in the white background. It almost sort of filled up the white space, which is important for such a large poster with so little going on. I also love how the colors have a sort of shading going on.

Even though this poster is very simple, I'm sure that a lot of effort went into it. Most LGBT posters that I've seen will go completely overboard and have a bunch of crazy stuff going on. Not this, however. I love how "DIVERSITY" is spaced out to different lines. It's minimalist and powerful at the same time. And its proportion to the quote (which is a great quote by the way) is spot on.

Great job overall. I really love it.
