The Governance: Journals Pt. 1Unrecognizable. That was the first word that came to my mind when I saw it. Simply unrecognizable. Sara keeps telling me it isn’t the London I had known before – that London is dead and gone. But the mere fact that this new, strange place is called London, tells my mind that I have to see something familiar. Stunning is the first word that came to mind when I initially saw this piece. The little shot wasn't enough, I just wanted to blow it up and admire all the detail.

The low key lighting is the first thing that just made me say WOW! It beautifully captures the models wonderful expression and gives such great depth.
Yet because of the low key light there is still a wide range of tonal value to show all the subtle details like muscle tone.

I especially love the artist choice to leave a little colour in the hair which strengthens the focal point.

My only negative thought is with the composition. Although this is a beautiful piece I personally would have went for a composition that follows the rule of thirds more.

Nonetheless, it's this kind of work that inspires me and reminds me why I am here. To see great work.
